  3. I would certainly prefer to be in the multimedia aspect, generally in the feild of TV and film. Work at a computer to bring videos, images, CGI effects onto the screen, whether it be for television, Like riverview Live or even a block buster movie. watching things like the matrix or GI Joe, the special effects makes the scene nothing short of epic, and I'd like to know how to get a part of that, even if starting small...

  6. The perfect IT job would be a network administrator, the reason for this is being you are controlling a whole network of computers which run of the server you are watching over, i would love to do this while creating new programs and systems for the users that would be using the computers from the server.

Depending on what you like to do with IT there are different IT jobs that people might like to do. It's a personal preference but that would be mine, only because i like to be controlling the computers myself.

  8. I would work at google because at google because you are able to earn so much money and you would be working in one of the biggest industries in the world! You get free lunch and that is pretty wicked. You get your own working hours but you have to finish your project or whatever they call it in a certain amount of time.
this is why i reckon it would be a sweet as job:
Lend a helping hand. With millions of visitors every month, Google has become an essential part of everyday life - like a good friend - connecting people with the information they need to live great lives.
Life is beautiful. Being a part of something that matters and working on products in which you can believe is remarkably fulfilling.
Appreciation is the best motivation, so we’ve created a fun and inspiring workspace you’ll be glad to be a part of, including on-site doctor and dentist; massage and yoga; professional development opportunities; shoreline running trails; and plenty of snacks to get you through the day.
Work and play are not mutually exclusive. It is possible to code and pass the puck at the same time.
We love our employees, and we want them to know it. Google offers a variety of benefits, including a choice of medical programs, company-matched 401(k), stock options, maternity and paternity leave, and much more.
Innovation is our bloodline. Even the best technology can be improved. We see endless opportunity to create even more relevant, more useful, and faster products for our users. Google is the technology leader in organizing the world’s information.
Good company everywhere you look. Googlers range from former neurosurgeons, CEOs, and U.S. puzzle champions to alligator wrestlers and Marines. No matter what their backgrounds Googlers make for interesting cube mates.
Uniting the world, one user at a time. People in every country and every language use our products. As such we think, act, and work globally - just our little contribution to making the world a better place.
Boldly go where no one has gone before. There are hundreds of challenges yet to solve. Your creative ideas matter here and are worth exploring. You’ll have the opportunity to develop innovative new products that millions of people will find useful.
There is such a thing as a free lunch after all. In fact we have them every day: healthy, yummy, and made with love.

  10. ultimately, i would love a career in marketing and promotions (advertising and promoting good and services for a particular company). so to incorporate the computing industry, for this particular blog, i would a career where i could market and promote computer hardware and software to small and large businesses, schools, universities and anybody looking to upgrade technologies such social organisations and clubs.

it would be similar to a sales person, i suppose, the only difference being that a sales person sells things door-to-door selling products, were a career in the marketing and promotions is more advertising and promoting computer hardware and software to people on a more professional level and targets people who would more interested in upgrading company technologies

i think a career like that would be pretty groovey =]

  11. My ideal job, that has something to do with i.t., would be to be a landscape photographer. I think this job would own any other job; you would be able to travel to amazing places and see amazing things and be able to capture them in their own perfect way so that the rest of the world can see them, which I think is amazing because I love to share great things with people. I would also be able to use really great cameras that could take great photos, for the photography that I would be doing I would want to definitely use a SLR camera like a Sigma SD14 but with a wider lens to be able take great panoramic shots as well as great extreme close ups, yeah, being a photographer would be amazing.

You wouldn’t be bored because you would be talking all the time and meet new people and you would be able to get to know everyone so easily.

  14. i want to be a graphic designer.

i would like to work in a fashion company to design the ads for their products and also edit the photos after the photoshoot(:

i enjoy using photoshop and image editing. i think it would be fun to make a professional ad like for clothing or comestics. make it bright so that it can attract viewers. i dont mind doing all the 'design proposal' or paperwork process because its like "all part of the job" and sounds cool lol :)

also i would to work on fashion photoshoots image editing. for most shoots, the images are edited after anyway to make it look the best.

  15. Find me a job

I would like to work as a system administrator for Google.
It would be awesome to work for such a powerful organization whist still being an admin.
The advantages of great working environment, working with cutting edge equipment and technology.
The future prospects of further training with development teams setting future operating standards.
I would just love having all this power at one click of a mouse and being able to search anything, anywhere, anytime. And to add on to what Jason said about it being the same everywhere thats a lie. Working with Google as an admin would be totally different to any where else.

  16. The perfect job would be working as a special effects/CG effect artist for movies. Getting to create (even if it’s only digitally) all the explosions, CG, and whatever other special effects there are would be great fun! Plus you get the added bonus of seeing a movie (and working on certain parts of it) before it even comes out! I can also imagine how high of a pay-check working in this line of work would get you. Not to mention that you’d be able to get a lot of work, what with movies being increasingly technology orientated these days (many films being shot entirely in CG), the amount of people requesting for jobs would be extremely large.

  17. My dream job (in the IT/multimedia industry) would be a Website designer/creator. This would be my ideal IT/multimedia job because I would really like to design a social website much like Facebook or Myspace. I would really like to do this job because I think it’ll bring in an astronomical amount of money because of heaps of companies wanting to advertise on my website because heaps of people come onto the website. Also because it’ll be great to actually make a website that runs and receives a lot of attention.

This job could open up new avenues such as design a websites for different companies and get money that way such as many website creating companies that are in power right now. Since the movement of technology is increasing over these couple of years website designing will soon become in demand because more and more companies will start to have a website because most of their dealings would be over the internet such as Coles having an online shopping option.

As web designers can have clients from all over the world it would expect the web designers to often travel the world to meet face-to-face with their clients. This would be wicked as I love to travel the world and see the different cultures and work with different cultures

  19. My ideal job would be to be the guy who sits somewhere in the IT building and does nothing expect think. Now dont get me wrong these people do exist. I heared of a man who sat in a room of a building and just stared out of the window. This man had previously thought of an idea that made the company so much money that they now pay him to basically sit in a room and do nothing except think of new ideas. Now ofcourse this is slightly unrealistic in an IT based environment where for ideas to come about there would need to be a fair amount of research and exploration required. But essentially this idea revolves around the simple act of thinking and imagining how different ideas would play out in your companies many areas of expertise. Now this is pretty similar to any company's research department however this job would allow endless ours of exploring the internet both the fun and not so fun areas but it would not include wrighting up lengthy reports and papers on websites that have been visited instead just presenting the good websites, web content or products found in a quick easy to understand presentation, this would allow for more hours of exploring and imagining (The distracted boys dream). This is a highly unrealistic job where it would require much persuasive evidence to even be granted in any work force area today.

my ideal IT job would be a Gaming designer that invovles plotting a computer games story, designing the looks of the game, designing the storyline. Make a good game, a game that meets every single gamer's dream is my dream. sounds un realistic but sumday, if not by me... i am sure someone will definitely be able to do it.

  22. My perfect job involving technology would have to be Digital Design and 3D animation. I plan to do a double major in Digital Design and Screen arts when I leave school, which will enable me to work in the film and television animation industry. An example of this would be working at Pixar Animation Studios or for a software company such as Rare. It would be a sweet job because it involves art and design of characters/settings/objects and filmography and animation. I would get to participate in the design process of creating things like the Pixar films, going from storyboard sketches to concept art, then 3D modelling, scripting and more storyboarding and finally animation and rendering of a scene. This job would involve using powerful technology to create video and still imagery or 3D models. The reason it would be great is that it is creative and somewhat flexible yet technical and complicated to some extent, requiring skill and accuracy. Just to be a part of creating the magical experiences of Pixar, Dreamworks etc. movies would be a dream come true.

  23. i would absolutely love to me a proffesional in lighting and do all of the different lighting effects for all of the top concerts to make them extra better, if you know what i mean.

it might be pretty hard to please everyone when i am doing this for example, you wouldnt want to do this work with all of the pubs and clubs, yer cause i would like to maybe stay away from those areas. i suppose that you would have to be pretty coordinated to do this job, but, hey if i was really shocking there is always room for improvement and experience. the only problem with me doing something like this is that i am not really much of a night person. i cant stand being up so late.i have to atleast have ten hour breaks, but yer everyone is different, so dont accuse me of doing anything wrong ok... hey i have people over, and i eally need to go and not be anti social, but yer i would love to do the lighting for the concerts that are happening in the public.....=D

  24. My ideal job for the future would be a professional photographer. this job gives you the opportunity to meet new people, get your work exposed and give you a reason to travel around the world capturing the wonders of the world. I would first start of as an event photographer for birthdays and weddings then make my way up to television, taking photos on set for movies/ TV series'. Then hopefully travel around the world as a wildlife/nature photographer taking photos of the awesomness of nature.

  25. For my dream job relating to IT, I would choose a game tester. I like this job because all you have to do is test out games and write a review about it. Also you have to have to check for any mistakes, cheats, lame story or good characters or equipment. It is one of the best paying jobs and is one of the easiest in the world and you can do it all at home in your pajamas and just email the report or review. This makes me want to work hard for it because you must get very high marks to get the job.

  26. (yeah... =] it's Hill again...)
Hands down my perfect job would be in the photography/graphic design industry, simply because it's artistic and really enojoyable. If I was a graphic designer/photographer I'd pretty much get paid for doing something I love and making super-trippy art/photos for companies, which would be s-w-e-e-t as!

The pay in graphic design is quite varied depending on the quality of your work and who you work for, but it's safe to say that graphic designers get paid pretty well. The same concept applies to photography, although the pay would be less consistant as it would probably be on a photo to photo basis.
